I've been catching domains for 7/8 years, and I find most of the threads on X are nonsense. You are never going to get high quality domains for reg price unless you have direct access to the registry. You are never going to find HQ, high referring domain count domains...

@itsyukinariyo Makes sense. Thanks. What I've been doing is 301ing domains to a blog post titled "{brand} has acquired {domain}" and then using internal linking to spread the power out. It feels to me more like what a company would do if a merger happened.

@breitidea It can depend on the situation. Main site is good, just don’t overdo it Tier 2 is safer, but tends to be less powerful eg you may need more links or time to get results
