@lewisdufc01 Maybe it will convince other investors of a similar profile to Bloom to invest into Scottish football? We know that Ogren has wanted out for years, and a lot of eyes will be on Scottish football right now, so perhaps it raises our profile and brings in new investment?

I’ll never come to terms for any fan from other teams in the top division that actively want Hearts to win it? “Good for Scottish football” How? It doesn’t benefit anyone else. and if anything they get more money from it which makes it 3 places in the league that are taken up.

@BarryAnderson_ You can hugely respect the job Dykes has done for us whilst also thinking there are more in-form players who might deserve a chance. That being said, the sentimental part of me wants him in the squad because he missed Euro 2024, and I think he’s a good influence

Good luck to him. When there is a choice because on the table there is potentially a more attractive proposition or one that feels more natural to him, then I'm glad he hasn't just 'picked' us when he's felt like it. International football is about more than that in my opinion.

@RaeComm Completely agree on Burke. Game changed when BGD went off. Pace gives you so much going forward, however people underestimate the nullifying effect it can have on teams going forward. Dorgu had free reign to push forward with little threat of being caught in behind

Romantically it’s often suggested you just stick with who got you there. Scotland have often made that mistake (78 with Rioch & Masson who were both off form & in form Souness available.) Several months now to find new candidates in what out of necessity will be a large squad.

Couldn’t agree more with @afneil on this. Sauchiehall Street was once a symbol of Glasgow’s pride, now it’s a building site, neglected and rapidly declining under SNP-led Glasgow City Council. Glaswegians deserve better than this endless mismanagement. It shouldn’t be allowed to continue.

I drove down Sauchiehall Street today — at least for as far as I could go before it becomes a building site — for the first time in over a decade. It used to be world-famous, Glasgow’s equivalent of Oxford Street. It’s now a shambles and a disgrace to Scotlands biggest city. A national scandal. Glasgow City Council should be put into administration. It is clearly incapable of running a proud city which, after years of decline, had a 30-year renaissance from the late 1970s onwards. And is now in more serious decline than ever. So sad — and unnecessary.

Celebrated getting a point in a game we were written off in, which kept up the possibility of progressing through the group stages of the Euros. Celebrated Denmark dropping points to keep alive our chances of automatic qualification to the World Cup. Not sure why that that’s so hard to understand. 🤣🤣🤣
