@BaseballJeff1 7 runs, 3 HRs, 5 outs. But I’m glad Buster wouldn’t have done anything different

@HOFPosey @GiantHotTakes “Jackson Flora, RHP, UCSB (throwing today)”
English

@PavlovicNBCS Alex someone has to ask Tony what it’s gonna take for Borg to be demoted from 3B coach. This is insane
English

@timkawakami Surely we are at the point in the season where someone’s head needs to roll and they have the perfect guy
English

@brett55sterrer @C2Cbsbl @giantsjosh you definitely were like a D3 backup lineman stfu man i want to watch pros play like pros
English

Jesus Rodriguez in LF again…
What the hell are we doing???
How is he even still on this roster

@aleck_25 @C2Cbsbl @giantsjosh “Ramos is mid” heaven forbid giants fans root for homegrown players that went through the struggle of dealing with expectations and coming out the other side a quality player. Why do you watch if it’s been pathetic for a decade?
English

@brett55sterrer @C2Cbsbl @giantsjosh ramos was a top 100 guy for a while btw. schmitt is a great story. ramos is mid. giants fans are obsessed with mid players now and it’s honestly been pathetic for a decade. could never be me
English

@aleck_25 @C2Cbsbl @giantsjosh Did you have patience for Schmitt? Or Ramos? You know how stupid it sounds to say “I have patience for a top 100 prospect but I don’t have patience for guys below them” can’t make a team with 15 starters. Someone has to be a bench bat that gives you flexibility
English

@brett55sterrer @C2Cbsbl @giantsjosh i have patience for guys like eldridge. i do not have patience for guys with minimal upside. figure it out
English

@aleck_25 @C2Cbsbl @giantsjosh Congrats you’re right. He’s terrible and will never get better. The rookie thrown into a rough situation is looking like a deer in headlights. I look forward to more rookies not living up to immediate expectations in the future
English

@brett55sterrer @C2Cbsbl @giantsjosh in no way shape or form is he a perfect first guy off the bench. giants being horrible for a decade has warped your brain
English

@C2Cbsbl @giantsjosh He’s not a starter. Hes a UTIL guy that can fill a role when he gets a spot start. I’m sure the giants would love to use him at 2B but as we are all aware that spot is full rn. Hes the perfect 1st guy off the bench and that’s what he’s being groomed to be
English

@brett55sterrer @giantsjosh I don’t love the idea of a corner OF with no power output. It’s a profile that plays better in CF/SS/2B/C
You want your corner OF guys to slug
He’s essentially homeless positionally, and needs to hit .320 to be worth a damn
It’s a hard player to really get invested in at all
English

@C2Cbsbl @giantsjosh So let him get his footing in LF while facing MLB level pitching. He doesn’t play ever game and this team isn’t competing so let the kid learn
English

@brett55sterrer @giantsjosh Not if he still can’t play defense or draw a walk or bring value on the bases
This is the Luis Arraez dilemma. Until he learned how to play 2B he was not a valuable player
English

@C2Cbsbl @giantsjosh So if he were to be a .300 hitter you would say he has no value?
English

@brett55sterrer @giantsjosh That’s still 40 points below where he needs to be to have any value
English

@C2Cbsbl @giantsjosh Except that his xBA is .278 which is well above average and he’s still adjusting to MLB pitching. Almost feels like if you gave him some time to get acclimated he could be a .300 hitter
English

@brett55sterrer @giantsjosh Again, if Rodriguez isn’t hitting .320 he’s a bad player
Bryce is hitting the ball hard right now, I’m confident results will come
Jesus is not hitting the ball hard at all, there’s not alot suggesting he’s going to get the average to jump back up
English

@C2Cbsbl @giantsjosh Average age of MLB debut is 25 so both are early in that regard. If Jesus doesn’t hit .300 he legit does nothing. If Bryce doesn’t hit for power he legit does nothing. The best part about those statements is that’s the thing those two guys are best at. Let’s maybe give them grace
English

@brett55sterrer @giantsjosh Bryce is 21 and hitting the ball very hard right now
Jesus is 24 and not doing that, and if he doesn’t hit .320 he legit does nothing
English

@giantsjosh @C2Cbsbl So by your logic what does that say about Bryce. I swear I’m talking to 5 year olds
English

@brett55sterrer @C2Cbsbl .300 hitter in the minor leagues, hasn’t done literally anything since being called up
English

@giantsjosh @C2Cbsbl No it’s pointing out the hypocrisy in “minor league numbers”
English

@brett55sterrer @C2Cbsbl are you really riding Jrod this hard ? Are you actually comparing Jrod vs Eldridge ?
English

@giantsjosh @C2Cbsbl So it’s fair to say Bryce Eldridge is a bust then right?
English

@brett55sterrer It’s all 1B
We’re seeing right now that, if the average ticks below .300, he’s a negative offensive player
