Thanks so much to the @karlstefanovic show for the conversation. It was nerve wracking, a lot of fun, definitely out of my comfort zone, but I think we got some great stuff out there. You just need to make it through the umms....

We’ve got to start backing Aussie farmers and producers. Josie Angus's message is simple: cut the red tape, understand the reality on the ground, and start putting Australian-produced ahead of imports. Now live - link in bio.

The idea that one of the shrewdest businesswomen in the world has gifted a $1m plane to a politician and expects nothing in return, really is weapons grade naivety. #auspol #insiders

Good morning Australia Can someone remind the prime minister that he shouldn’t be allowed to say things that aren’t true? It’s called lying. All he does is lie. We are being led by an habitual liar.

Our hearts are broken that the case of the little girl missing in Alice Springs has had such a tragic ending. The girl, who the family has asked be referred to as Kumanjayi Little Baby, was only five years old. She was just at the start of life's adventure. This is the tragic outcome we were all desperately hoping against. No words can measure up to the immensity of the grief her family is going through. In their time of terrible loss, all Australians hold them in our hearts. This is devastating for the whole Alice Springs community, which came together to find her. We wish them strength, and also to the police in their difficult work as they pursue answers and, ultimately, justice. May Kumanjayi Little Baby live on in every heart she ever touched.

The death of a beautiful child in an Aboriginal community brings up questions about the living conditions in the NT. The houses were built by previous governments, without thought. They are hot and made mainly of cement. No maintenance, sanitation & amenities close by.

Fun fact In 1971 - 115,000 people identified as Aboriginal. In 2026 it’s now around one million. Any ideas why ?

@colwight All aboriginal people want is to be treated as equal Australians . The sexual abuse of children is rife in their communities and nothing is done, if this sexual abuse was happening in non indigenous communities all hell would break out. Albanese Government has allowed this abus

I’m going to say something really contentious, but… The tragic death of this indigenous girl has got Australia up in arms. But the problem is that White Australia simply has no idea how to deal with its indigenous population. And the way it’s trying is to turn them into Europeans at the same time as they’re extolling the virtues of indigenous culture is going to lead to conflict. And the townships these people live in aren’t necessarily starved of money and resources. I don’t have any answers, but dragging an ancient culture into the 21stC is never going to work, and if it it going to work it’s never going to be easy. There are no right answers here. abc.net.au/news/2026-04-3…
