The girls went 4-1 this weekend playing in the HS division. We went 1-1 in pool and b/c of the (ridiculous) format, that put us in the silver bracket. We played some really great ball on Sunday, winning the bracket in extra innings against an 18s team. Total team effort! ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our tourney weekend had to be cut short after a 2-0 start & also a forfeit win yesterday. Lingering injuries from our 2 available pitchers made that drop to 1 available. @ChloeCannon09 managed to get us 2 W’s by herself in the 2 games we played while still recovering from a bad ankle injury. Continuing the tourney was not worth further injury risk to them. Thank you @TopGunEvents for understanding. Proud seeing how the girls united. With a week to reflect, I’m convinced this was the greatest moment in sports history. A 2-star recruit leads the worst program ever to a national championship, beats his hometown team that wouldn’t let him walk on, and finishes it by running over the same guy who knocked him out the year before, with his mother battling MS watching from the stands. If it was a Disney movie, you’d say it was too much.
