@emollick I’d probably follow up with the next sentence in the paper: “However, satisfaction was not necessarily concordant with the clinician-determined information quality and empathy”… may be important if the information is bad medical content (even if patients “like” it more!)

SDoH has somehow fallen out of favor but I hope that changes with generative AI. A new study found that genAI can identify SDoH needs in doctor's notes, something that historically has been left out of EHR data. If this can pull automatically, the impact will be immense.

@rikrenard Seems off mark to me. Billing data is what is coded. Knowing only what is coded (orders, dx, levels of service) is data analytics of the past. Esp in world of gen AI, clinical context matters - and that’s found in the depths of the chart. If shifting to VBC, even less relevant

Most data platforms spend an enormous amount of time trying to access EHR data but the truth is that you can get +80% of the same insights using a more accessible data source: billing.

Digital therapeutic innovators, if you're looking for quick/dirty way to get reimbursement with payers/adoption from providers, use remote therapeutic monitoring codes CPT 98975 for you(ish) & CPT 98980/1 for providers. There's a case for new codes, but these will generally work

@DEAHQ, @HHSGov this prioritizes paperwork > patients. Controlled RX should always be subject to strict safety measures - and RX via telemedicine already subject to standard monitoring. This will harm patient / provider care.
