Journal entry. Sunday afternoon: people shot dead in a church today. Blood on the carpet, bullet holes in chapel walls. Prayers cut short by gunfire and the sound of families screaming. A theological autopsy performed before the bodies turn cold. The pews are extended gutters and the gutters are full of cultish doctrine. And after the building burns down and the bodies are carried out, all the cult members will look up, grieving, and shout, “Stand with us against this evil against Christianity!” …and I’ll whisper: “Mormons aren’t Christian.”

A conclusion that stunned audiences and immediately established this film as a classic.. Audiences in 1968 were stunned by the ending of Planet of the Apes, which revealed that astronaut George Taylor had been on a post-apocalyptic Earth all along, catching viewers completely off guard. With spoiler culture and twist-driven marketing still largely absent at the time, most audiences experienced the final reveal with no advance hint of what was coming. The ending went on to become one of the most iconic moments in film history, helping cement the movie’s reputation as a sci-fi classic while also reflecting the era’s anxieties about nuclear war during the 1960s.

Gaslighting us. He thinks this is about a difference in religious beliefs. Forgets that on the day our church was attacked and people murdered, his priority was to make sure everyone knew we weren't Christians. Deporting this guy back to California

The comments by reporters endorsing the cold-blooded murder of a husband and father are absolutely reprehensible. No decent human being should be celebrating or justifying the execution of another person because they disagree with his business practices or politics. The normalization of this kind of rhetoric is dangerous and morally bankrupt. What makes this even more disturbing is that some of the individuals making these statements hold official NYC press credentials. Press passes exist to provide legitimate journalists access to scenes, events, and restricted areas so they can inform the public, not so radical activists can masquerade as members of the media while promoting extremism and political violence. Over the past several years, we have repeatedly seen individuals carrying press credentials using them during demonstrations and events to harass police officers, intimidate members of the public, interfere with law enforcement operations, and shield activist behavior behind the label of “journalism.” That undermines the credibility of legitimate reporters and creates serious public safety concerns. After hearing from multiple reporters with decades of experience reporting in NYC, before I left office, my administration was going through the process of rewriting the rules governing NYC press credentials to strengthen standards, protect the integrity of the press corps, and prevent political activists posing as journalists from obtaining official credentials and the access that comes with them. As your own publication reported, those proposed reforms were going through the rule-making process before being scrapped by the current administration: nydailynews.com/2026/01/12/mam… That decision was reckless. Official press credentials should not be handed out in a way that allows extremists to abuse them while hiding behind the credibility and protections afforded to legitimate journalism. This needs to change, and it needs to change now.

“I’m saying fuck Brian Thompson. I don’t give a flying fuck he died,” says Ashley Rojas, wearing her press badge provided by @NYCMayorsOffice. Lena Weissbrot adds that Thompson’s teenage sons “are better off without him” and should “enjoy the blood money.”

In 1601, Spanish conquistadors wandered into southern Kansas… And found a Native city with 20,000+ people. Dome-shaped lodges. Plazas. Gridded streets. It stretched for 5+ miles. Then it vanished from memory. Buried under silence—until we found it. This is Etzanoa:🧵

So my church has to worry about radical gender activists attacking us for our beliefs on marriage and family - but we also have to worry about psycho evangelicals who call our religion 'evil' and believe they’re doing God’s work by murdering us. Evangelical rhetoric labeling my faith as evil inspired a 'Christian' to shoot up our church and murder my brothers and sisters. What exactly is @oldstatemark going to do to protect my ward from the psychotic evangelicals who believe my religion is evil?

To be clear, Mark Furhman’s “past racist remarks” were NOT actually his… He was play-acting a fictional character for a screenwriter for a possible TV/movie production. It was ABSURD this was ever allowed into the O.J. Simpson trial, but the judge was a virtue-signaling idiot and the news media loved it. I was a golfing buddy at the time of with the North Carolina lawyer, Joe Cheshire (of Duke Lacrosse fame), who got the “Furhman tapes” legally extradited to California. He was well aware that O.J. was guilty and that the N-word issue was total bullshit.

Amanda Peet is 5 years older than I am and we’re a part of a group of women over the age of 45 who’ve yet to have any kind of work done (mainly Botox and fillers). While statistically speaking we’re not the minority, it certainly feels like it.
