Suddenly Among hardly has any defenders, and MK plus Oboth have more praise singers! If MK lost his power now, he would be shocked how many continue praising him.

Suddenly, the people who always mock our fight against abductions are decrying the very abductions they have always defended and christened 'arrests'. They will soon have lawyers filing Habeas Corpus and other applications for their rights to be upheld. All of a sudden, they will remember that there is a document called the Constitution with guarantees of liberty and fair trials. EVERYONE eventually realises that they need to or needed to have fought for the rule of law. The things we say every day about good governance, human rights, and the rule of law are not mere academic concepts. They're like breath - all of us need them to live and thrive. Sadly, many people learn this when it is too late!

Kenya’s greatest challenge isn’t just policy failure, it’s a crisis of thought. Are we trapped in elite mediocrity, chasing Western narratives while neglecting the deep wisdom within our own roots? In this episode, “Our Elites Not Organic to Society,” @wmnjoya asks: Why do we seek answers from a collapsing global order, yet shy away from our indigenous knowledge? Without a strong philosophical foundation, our institutions remain fragile and disconnected from who we are. Justin Nameere, ever the erratic mind, says the Rolls-Royce was a gift from Anita Among's foreign friends. The other week, Among presided over the passing of the Sovereignty bill. It would be poetically ironic if the state used the new law to claim Among as its first victim.

MS Albeity Limited - The Company that “gifted” Uganda’s outgoing Speaker of Parliament the latest 3.4BN Rolls Royce. The company has been identified as a "briefcase firm" in several reports due to its low-key operational history, has listed the following individuals in official UK Companies House records over time. Current Director •Samir Tahir al-Kharusy: A British citizen (born 1972) who was appointed on August 13, 2018. Reports from Monitor.co.ug have previously identified him as a postal worker. Former Directors •Nsibomana Ibrahim: Served as a director from December 2021 until his resignation in September 2022. He has been identified in reports as a truck driver. •Youssuf Aden: A Somali nurse who resigned in September 2018. •Abubakar Hassan: Resigned as both a director and secretary in September 2018. The company gained notoriety in Uganda for securing high-value government contracts, including the procurement of luxury vehicles for the leadership of the Ugandan Parliament, despite its directors seemingly having no prior background in the automotive industry. Financial Standing of Albeity Limited: According to the latest available filings at UK Companies House, the company is classified as a micro-entity. Its balance sheets have historically shown relatively modest net assets compared to the multi-billion shilling contracts it has secured in Uganda. QUESTION - How did Samir raise money to buy a luxurious car for gifting the Speaker? Employment Background: Investigative reports by Daily Monitor previously identified Al-Kharusy as a postal worker in the United Kingdom, suggesting that his primary source of income may have been outside of large-scale international trade prior to the company’s involvement with the Ugandan Parliament. Contractual Revenue: While Albeity Limited has handled transactions worth billions of Ugandan shillings—including the Shs2.4 billion Mercedes-Benz deal in 2022 and the recent Shs3.4 billionRolls-Royce delivery—these figures represent gross contract values or vehicle costs, not the personal income of the director. @IGGUganda @AnneTwino @DrOkiria Declarations concerning this “gift” should be made public

Let me shock you... Kenyatta Avenue was "carpeted and painted" in less than 24 hours because we have global visitors. 😆. It means KENHA and others can do their jobs but they are too lazy and corrupt. It means they can fix a road in days, and not years.

When it comes to finding money for intern doctors (who are already doctors btw and just doing apprenticeship) in a country with a doctor to patient ratio of 1:10,000, we get so many stories. When it's time to find money for other "unworthy" practices, money is readily available.

Wampewo Avenue road was completed in less than 6 weeks as the contractor rushed to finish in time before the Presidential swearing in ceremony. So this means the delays of finishing most of other roads is due to laziness or feeling no pressure from those awarding the contracts.

What is it about titles in Uganda? Why do otherwise serious people feel compelled to acquire fake degrees and inflated credentials? Is it ambition gone too far, or does it reflect a deeper sense of insecurity and inadequacy? Thank you @nickopiyo for discouraging this shameful behaviour. Have you checked Justice Baguma’s ´doctorate.’?
Nicholas Opiyo (Pronouns He/Him)@nickopiyo

Thank you for your reply and for offering the certificates you believe are your qualifications. Let us examine if together, publicly here. 1. You actually make my point - that you have no PhD qualification. An honorary doctorate does not qualify you to sign government documents as a Dr. It is the point we have been trying to make here for a bit now. It is the reason @nche_uganda issued guidelines I drew your attention to. A rigorous and discerning mind, and a keen reader, would have read the document and understood it. You can read it again. It is not too long. 2. A master class certificate is not a master's degree qualification. This point should be very easy to decipher, Madam Minister. You may have been misled to believe that it was, but I am afraid it is not. 3. The schools whose documents you share here are dubious schools that have issued such documents to many people here. They do it for a fee of about $5,000. They have sent me emails every year for over five years now. See a screenshot of one such email below. Interestingly, many recipients/buyers of these fake degrees are the most common users of these fake Dr titles, even more than those who are academically qualified. We have taken this initiative to keep our people a little honest and to protect the prestige of knowledge production and respect for those who put in the hard labor of PhD study. We mean no disrespect to you and only ask you to follow the rules and avoid any misrepresentation. Credentials without accompanying knowledge and credibility is the biggest fraud in our society. We expect better from our leaders.

Some things are about basic common sense, not even political wisdom. Your bosses, who must be having a lot more, hardly display their wealth. Only those who have visited their homes know how their houses look like. It is 40 years now, but many of us have no idea how Museveni’s house looks like. Even when you search the internet, you hardly find one clear picture. They only show their local cows as their wealth. They move around in one colour of shirt all year, or only in military uniforms - not conspicuous designer clothes. We don’t know any private car of theirs. And you come in splashing posh cars, buildings, expensive designer clothes … Do you even think?
