Redbeard's Law: "If you don't run software, you can't write good software."

After more than a decade with @kalilinux, I was let go this week. I started in 2013 as a contractor and joined full time in 2014. I am gutted. This work was a huge part of my life, and as the only one on ARM, I do not know what the future holds for me or the project.

@ID_AA_Carmack As a self-taught computer scientist I'm immediately curious about the "too low level" misstep. 😅 I've worked on things ranging from RTL to Kubernetes and can't wait to watch this.

I find the AI generated mouth movements in Squid Game 2 really horrifying. The cheek shaking to compensate is very uncanny valley.

@falconred I was thinking about the "ownership" of an idea implemented as software juxtaposed with the concept of harm directly caused by that software. I mean that was like two calendar months ago. Don't ascribe any shower thought style speculation to the current software landscape.
