Happy to be with my friend and the next President of Chile, Jose Antonio Kast, in the European Parliament standing for freedom of speech. A great man who will do great things for Chile and the world. A short message for US conservatives. #chile #maga @joseantoniokast

The head of the Georgian Orthodox Church, Patriarch Ilia II, who passed away this week, launched a mass baptism initiative in 2008, pledging to baptize every third child of Orthodox families—becoming godfather to over 47,000 children and contributing to a notable baby boom

One man in Europe had the guts to to stand up to open borders, green energy lies, gender ideology. Instead he said he would be Hungarian, Christian and stand with President Trump. Thank you Prime Minister Orban for changing history and standing up for your people.

My prayers are with the people of Georgia after the loss of the great Patriarch Ilia. I had the great honor to meet Patriarch Ilia and have him in attendance at the World Congress of Families in 🇬🇪Georgia in 2016. A great loss. God bless #Georgia

I hate hatred for Israel. I hate hatred for Tucker. This is not hard. We can disagree with folks, without hating them. We can disagree on policy, and still not go at each other's throats.

Is it that hard to realize that the group who rightly pointed out the many failures of liberalism might have huge differences and some extremists? I don't really care for the word "integralism," but it's pretty clear that liberalism has massive problems and internal contradictions and that we may want Christianity and the natural law to more clearly and publicly inform our political culture.

Integralists also support denying citizenship rights to the unbaptized and use of state power to coerce baptized dissenters. So, if you want to call yourself an integralist, it’s time to get Cardinal McElroy to clap irons on Donald Trump.

My Catholic faith informs my worldview. I guess to some folks on the political Right that qualifies as “integralism” which is apparently an “anti-American” ideology. Noted.

Anyone who has studied the early Republic knows this is true. And, yes, I am a Catholic convert. The interesting question is how dissenting Protestantism, in its opposition to the Anglican Erastian heresy, created an unlikely environment in which Catholicism would thrive.
Megan Basham@megbasham

Look, I have and love friends of other faiths, but the United States was built upon a Protestant ethic and outlook. Others have come and contributed to our culture, and I do not deny that. But to claim that America’s founding, its self-understood identity for the vast majority of its existence, had been anything other than Protestant is a lie.

Yes, actually it is. We are allowed to speak to whomever we please, including those under sanctions. We are not allowed to engage in certain types of speech (actual treasonous speech or disclosing state secrets among them) and can not have business dealings. I'm quite familiar with the law here, and looking forward to your response.

@JonSchweppe Protestant: Of course my faith informs the way I vote. It also did for the Founders. Catholic: Mine too! Protestant: INTEGRALIST!

Protestants and Catholics must sort out a way to remain together in the Republican party and unite around pro-life, pro-family policies, while not breaking up over foreign policy differences. I have heard from Christians in the Holy Land about their very real difficulties tied to some Israeli policies. I have argued with Protestant friends who tend to be very opposed to criticism of the government of Israel. We remain friends and don't try to destroy one another. Blowing up the Republican coalition over foreign policy differences right before the midterms is a bad idea. Chill out.
