Now the little pinks in China are not happy with the role Jin Chou — they’re saying it’s Chin Chou — played by actress Helen J Shen in The Devil Wears Prada 2. They claim Chin Chou is insulting — it’s 辱华 — cuz it sounds like Ching Chong, which is racist and derogatory. The little pinks also complain that the role as seen in the movie is a stereotypical image of a Chinese woman showing Asians in a bad light. They’re calling for a boycott of the movie.
