My honest theory is that Candace was secretly love in with Charlie and this is really just scorned psycho b*tch behavior. “If I couldn’t have him nobody can” I’ve held off from saying that publicly, but after months of Candace being a scumbag, I’m just going to be honest. Candace probably thought her and Charlie would end up together, and when it didn’t happen, she grew secretly jealous and vindictive. Those past texts she shared about Charlie going on dates really back this up. The male/female friend dynamic where one actually likes the other but doesn’t want to admit it. Those feelings were muted as she got married and time went on, but Charlie dying probably brought it back. “I realized I still love him” type behavior. Before you ask me for evidence of that, I saw it in a dream. But in all seriousness, I can’t be the only one who thinks this.
