Schatzki ring can cause dysphagia & commonly treated with dilatation. Disruption with large capacity biopsy forceps can equally be effective. Here, dilatation caused no mucosal changes. Disruption therapy was effective. Patient symptoms free! # with consented #GITwitter

@SyedGerdezi This is a great high yield key points !! We occasionally have used colonic stent as bridge to surgery as well - but mostly for palliative as you nicely highlighted.
