😢 13 Year old Austin collapses after his game on Sunday and suffers a stroke. Grassroots Family please send your love and messages of support to him to boost his spirits. 🚨A message from Austin's Parents⤵️ 🗣️Good Morning, Austin has played Grassroots Football since he was 6 and sadly on Sunday he came off halfway through his game after taking a few blows to his head. When he got home he lost use of his right hand side and we rushed him to hospital. He’s been in intensive care and it has been confirmed he has suffered a stroke, he’s only 13 and faces the biggest fight of his life, he is currently in Addenbrookes Hospital received the best care possible. The road to recovery has started but sadly I feel his mental health is suffering as he is frustrated. Can’t speak much, walk or do anything he used to be able too. This is really playing on his mind and last night he asked myself and my wife if we still loved him. This broke me as a parent.. Anyway if there’s anyway the grassroots community can help with well wishes it may improve his mental state of mind and give him the support to fight..
