That outside gentility home cry behaviour in Ghanaians has to end. What do you mean dragging you to do your job properly is ruining the image of Ghana internationally? If the image of Ghana matters to you so much how about doing what is in the best interest of the citizens?

This is an excellent idea 🤔 Like Big Tech could never, they never had the experience and most probably don't even know this problem exists. This is exactly why we need local solutions - it leads to local jobs, wealth and better and more context-relevant solutions in the end.

Ibrahim Mahama used to dredge all those waterlogged areas in for free until the NPP started insulting him, claiming that he was doing it to look good in the eyes of Ghanaians to secure mining contracts, so he stopped.

I can't help but think of the homeless people on the streets with no shelter to protect them from the cold and the floods during the heavy rains, even those with roofs over their homes are suffering from the floods. May God keep us safe 😢🙌🏿🙏🏿

@enokay69 We need to be neutral. We started this some years back and the leaders of the movement gravitated towards ndc. We cant win the fight with hidden intentions

If we don’t wake up and come together as the youth and future of the next generation, we might end up the same way most of our fathers did, thinking better days were going to come, but they never did.

I’m still of the opinion that one of the biggest problems we have in this country is the de facto reverence we accord politicians. We treat them like they are our masters ergo they view us as subordinates. They are there to serve you not vice versa

'Desilting the Odaw River is not an antidote to Accra’s flooding problem — the real issue is what is happening upstream, where we have destroyed natural drainage systems and retention areas.' — Prof. Martin Oteng-Ababio, Board Chairman of the Forest Plantation Development Fund, notes that efforts focused on the Odaw River are misplaced, arguing that the city’s flooding challenge must be addressed at its source through proper land use and protection of natural water pathways. @mistakoomson The citizens hindered the project’s progress by acting lawlessly and resisting the flood prevention measures. We choke gutters, litter our homes and environment, build in water ways and resist demolition. We think like infants. The govt gave up. They cant babysit us always.

In 2020, Accra was promised to become the cleanest city in West Africa. Fast forward to today and people are still battling floods, choked gutters and poor sanitation. What really happened to that vision?

A country where graduates drive motorbikes to survive while politicians’ children secure powerful jobs through connections is not lacking talent, it is lacking fairness.
