As part of my research I developed a decision aid tool for people treated for Hodgkin lymphoma considering having a lung cancer screening test as part of a trial. Paper describing its' development published (hurrah!) @PSTRC_GM @ChristieLibrary #Sec42" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">bmcmedinformdecismak.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.11…

For the avoidance of doubt, locumming on strike days is not ok. It's selfish profiteering, while your colleagues forfeit their wages to fight for #fpr The hospitals can easily find cover if they pay consultant BMA rates Stick together, strike together, win together.

UK astonishingly far behind on CT and MRI scanners - I get that tech isn’t everything - but can we really justify being this much of an outlier? ⁦@RestIsPolitics

@timricketts_ I like to forget to cream small areas like knees/feet just to test the claim that suncream works (it does work everytime).

Suncream is wild because we have this thing that protects against skin cancer and keeps you looking younger for longer, but people are like “nah I’ll take the cancer and I’m happy to look like a shoe by my early forties, as long as I can be a bit darker now”.

Excellent to hear that all four panellists at #UKOF23 agree that junior doctors have a case to ask for pay restoration.

As a hospital consultant who wishes to support junior colleagues I think it’s vital that you win your battle for fair pay. This means that your industrial action has to be impactful. 4 days after the Easter weekend is impactful. Stick together don’t have doubts.

On chemo and hot clinic cover . I stand with my colleagues and cover their work. Junior doctors aren't junior. I was one for 12 years. #JuniorDoctorsStrikes

On my way to cover the wards today so dug out my kit from when I did it last, back in a different century. Don’t suppose much has changed? Pay certainly hasn’t….. #JuniorDoctorsStrike
