PE at Broadbent Fold Primary School

Today, our KS2 girls attended a football tournament at @ManCity’s ground! They didn’t concede any goals and had fantastic defending and goalkeeping skills! They came a fantastic 2nd overall, getting knocked out on penalties. Great job girls!

Last week, our Year 3’s and 4’s had so much fun at the glow dodgeball festival! They had fantastic outfits, great dance moves and even better dodgeball skills. Well done everyone! @tamesidessp

We enjoyed speaking at the @YouthSportTrust national conference yesterday all about our active uniform and the great impact it has had on our school. Thank you for having us!

Our future Olympic skier Sienna had the chance to meet Winter Olympics legend @daveryding at a recent competition where he shared lots of his tips and inspired her to reach for the stars in her sport! We all support you Sienna, well done!

Our fabulous Game Changers led assembly today to tell us all about their plans for ‘Made for this Game’ day this Friday! We even had a video message from Lioness @ellatoone99! We cannot wait to take part in all the events you have planned girls! #GMmadeforthisgame @tamesidessp

We’re excited to share that we are now working with Stamford Park Trust! Our pupils interviewed the Trust’s CEO Anton McGrath about the vision for our schools and what this means for us, as well as listing things they’d like! This will be sent via Seesaw for families to watch

Last week, our Year 5 and 6 pupils enjoyed taking part in an athletics competition against other schools in Tameside. They showed fantastic speed, strength and agility throughout. Well done everyone! @tamesidessp

At the weekend, one of our Game Changers had the fantastic opportunity to be a mascot at the United vs Liverpool game. She was also interviewed on TV! What an incredible experience!
