Hey there! From our side, we don’t think you should change it because of us. I get the concern, but players often read capsules as genre/tone signals, so some overlap between dog adventure games feels pretty natural. Tailgate clearly has its own identity and vibe. Our original idea was to lean into “Detective Hubert,” inspired by the True Detective-style double exposure look. But quite a few people told us it read too much like horror, so we brightened it up a bit :)

A question! Doggo-bro game @brocapstudio has a somewhat similar keyart (or I have one for Tailgate, dunno). Im absolutely fine with that (and hope they are too). But, since Tailgate is a smaller game (and now is basically a hobby-pet-passion project), players might get confused in a bad way and likely not in favour of Tailgate. Should I change it (I’m thinking some minor palette adjustments, just to steer the confusion away). What do you guys think?
