Well, the #DTL Crew did it again. I can't imagine this has ever happened before, but I could be wrong. Both the LOW-TAKEOUT $5 Late Double and the $3 Late P3 pools OUTHANDLED the Late P4 pool @santaanitapark today--right into the teeth of a stacked Oaks card. Of course, they outhandled last year's day as well. LDBL: $185K ($149K last year) ⬆️⬆️⬆️ LP3: $216K ($144K last year) ⬆️⬆️⬆️ LP4: $169K ($269K last year)👎👎👎 The sad thing is: no one is paying attention and tracking the data like we are. One exec thinks horseplayers don't care about takeout; and another one says horseplayers are unhinged and that CAWs are the future of racing. The game has a fighting chance. We are out there. We care. We want to bet. @ScatoniSureShot @santaanitapark Frank my favourite track to play is Fargo. Why? It’s completely old school. They charge $8 to get in, no common pool and the majority of the money is from folks who play once or twice a year. Downside small pools. But that’s ok for me. 😁😂😁

@broccowins @santaanitapark That's cool. Game selection is half the battle in gambling, so if that's your edge, then that's where you should be. Great point you made because what might be an edge for me isn't for someone else and vice versa. Thx!

@ScatoniSureShot @santaanitapark Frank I know you are an excellent player. Myself, I play races where there are no CAW footprint. Why compete with players like yourself or CAW groups when I can play the C tracks or QH or Arabian races which I prefer, where I have an edge. Or fixed odds.

@broccowins @santaanitapark No argument here. Agreed. That's why I only play low takeout/high minimum wagers where the CAWs have little to no edge. Best year I've had in a long time.

@ScatoniSureShot @santaanitapark The future of racing you used was of course hyperbolic. I see what this fellow is saying but it’s a problem the industry has caused itself. Of course anyone with any sensitivity to pricing can’t continue or has already quit. And when more people drop out there is less to take.

@thestaggieman Since you liked that one so much. Check out LS races 1 and 2 tomorrow night. As for why it was there I can only speculate but it’s very likely CD was paid a handsome amount to promote Arabian racing by someone/thing who $400000 doesn’t mean that much, maybe from the Middle East😁

Why in the hell is there an Arabian Race in the middle of the card tomorrow? Put that at the end of the card or at the beginning… not in the middle of a betting sequence. Sometimes you have to wonder whose incredible, incompetent idea was this?
