@TonesOfMusic Rush Living Colour Rush I saw many times- always right on! And the quality of their output makes them very engaging live. I saw LC twice: 1989 concert and an amazing acoustic set in 2017 NYC. They’re an incomparable live act. VReid’s a monster & Glover’s vocals are over the top

@gobirdsalex In regards to rock, I would say Kurt Cobain. The brilliance of his output showed great promise. IMO if he wasn’t so self-destructive (drugs, etc) he could have flowered into one of the greatest of songwriters. Musically he stood out as a gifted melodist & an original craftsman.

@gobirdsalex Franz Schubert (died at 31 due to Syphilis). The works of the last 5 years of his short life were as sublime as anything Beethoven wrote. Mozart is another: dead at 35 e.g. Both Schubert & Beethoven wrote 9 symphonies. Beethoven completed his 1st at 31. Schubert was dead at 31
