The biggest point that people are missing in the official broadcast vs co-stream conversation is that in 2024 Riot canceled the streaming platform they had been developing. I'd imagine that part of the idea of allowing co-streaming was the assumption that both official broadcasts and co-streams could be moved to their platform on launch. With their own platform, Riot could implement features to ensure their sponsors were properly represented on co-streams and take cuts of co-streamer monetization. They killed the platform, so now the strategy is much less clear.

My theory on the new protagonist The Stranger: He used to live among a village ran by the Dark Ones. The Dark Ones made themselves either look like kids or adults to the kids and were teaching them how to rebuild society. Someone found out about this village ran by dark ones(prolly the nazis) and brunt it to the ground. The Stranger is attempting to find these kids and settle what went wrong. At least that’s the gist of what I got from the trailer.

Makes sense that the Fourth Reich are the main villains now. The Red Line was destroyed. The Spartan elite left. Only thing I don’t get is why Hunter is the new fuhrer considering he was a loyal Spartan but I’m confident the game will make it make sense.
