@PulpLibrarian When I was a kid in the 60s & 70s my mom would do this usually on cold mornings. I liked it. Always liked warm milk & somehow over the flakes combined w the sweetness of sugar it was comforting.

Would you eat Corn Flakes with hot milk, like they did in 1939? I honestly am not sure...

@MoMcCormick7 I love all that's been said about her. She truly was the glue & the secret weapon. Comedic chops! I remember seeing reruns of the Bob Cummings Show way before BB. She was always great.

@SVG__Collection Happy bday #JamesBrown. Reminded me of my interview with him at his home in Augusta, GA '94 for #FeliciaShow. He called for breaks during interview so he can comb his hair & check his make up. He said he would visit South Africa if a parade was arranged for him with Mandela.

Four Tops - Baby I Need Your Loving (1964) Their breakthrough hit single at Motown & one of their very best! Masterpiece. Composed by Holland-Dozier-Holland, it captures another glorious lead vocal by Levi Stubbs, backed by the Tops' heavenly harmonies. #Legends

@Iamtammytavares I don't remember ever not knowing who she was. I'd seen her on tv on variety shows, talk shows before HeeHaw. I liked HH as a country Laugh-In. It also had the musical greats. She was a well educated woman.

@SAINTBERGMAN Fun fact the actor playing the ice cream man Ernest Anderson was discovered by Bette Davis 20 years prior to this when she helped get him cast in her movie with Olivia DeHavilland “In This Our Life” from 1942.

@DADiClementi I agree. First saw her on the Carson show & she was very funny. Her show is a Top 10 sitcom of all time & still brilliantly entertaining. Don't hate her bc I think she has issues. I wish her well. Her chem w Goodman was off the charts.

@rationalyankee @mikedorb1 I think Jazz is over thinking stuff. Trying to justify the 30HR prediction & trying too hard. Just play your game & things will all work out.

@mikedorb1 What headaches does he give you? He makes the Yankees a better team. If they don’t sign him, they will be a worse team. That’s what you should care about. The rest is just noise you’re making up in your head.

I’ve seen a few people say this about Volpe. I do think the Yankees should try to resign Jazz. His swing and power are a better fit at Yankee Stadium than anywhere else. He’s more valuable to the Yankees than another team. But if they don’t resign Jazz and just move Volpe to 2B, I can’t overstate how miserable I’d be going into a season with Volpe/Lombard/McMahon as 3/4 if the starting infield. Not nearly enough power in those bats. That can’t be the solution if the Yankees don’t resign Jazz.
The Eldest Boy@McMayhem297

@rationalyankee This is the way. As much as I like Jazz I don't think he's going to be worth the type of money it'll cost to keep him. Volpe could be the cheap solution at second. We need to start thinking about the summer of 29 when Skenes hits the market.
