We had a special visit last week! Students from Aalborg, Denmark came as part of a cultural exchange program. They got a school tour, visited classes, and engaged in cultural exchange activities with our students. A good time was had by all! @TPaulin_BKNHS @BKNHSSuptRoss

So proud of our Dance Team! They got to march and dance with the New York Association of Black Journalists at last weekend’s African American Day Parade! Thank you for the invite @NYABJ! It was truly an honor for us. We were also excited to make a new friend while we were there!

Thank you @LincolnRestler for inviting our students to participate in a walkthrough of the Bedford L last week and asking them for ways the station can be improved. They learned a lot about how local government works and that their voices matter! @BKNHSSuptRoss

Our GSA celebrated Pride Month by visiting Greenwich Village to learn about the origins of Queer Liberation and the annual Pride Parade. Shout out to Mr. Kearns and Mr. Snyder for supervising our GSA and creating this experience for them! @TPaulin_BKNHS @BKNHSSuptRoss
