Flames got a 2027 first round, 2028 2nd round (becomes 1st if Vegas wins the cup), Whitecloud and a defensive prospect. If the final goal isn't to make the playoffs, makes sense to keep picks.

I am feeling it in my gut that the @SanJoseSharks will pull some trades between the hours of 1-3pm eastern time. There is no way Mike Grier makes no moves if he wants to make a playoff push. The Sharks have the cap space and the assets to do something.
