In hospital recovering after a four hour subtotal colectomy, which is the removal of about 2/3 of your colon. I had this drastic surgery help prevent recurrence of the cancer that has plagued my family for at least four generations. I am the kind of person who does hard things.

Christmas when all of a sudden, within 3 hours, she was not fine. She stopped eating and drinking. They said she had no symptoms, but I would argue that she could not share how she felt, so how do we know? We were with her at the end and she is at peace. #Covid
