Yesterday, Speaker Johnson suggested Trump could ignore rulings by 61 courts & defy our Constitution because Trump supposedly “believed” he won. Mike knows the election was not stolen and that a President who defies the rulings of our courts & attempts to seize power is a tyrant.
My son #leottolo suddenly utters loudly:
“Do you want to destroy the world? Please send your application, and maybe we can work together.”
I do not know what to do.
Interesting choice by the New York Public Library: no more late fees, because they're ineffective at ensuring book returns, and they hurt disadvantaged communities.
Sunday afternoons well spent…
(I’ve never understood people who like crabs but say they’re too much work. What would you rather do for 2-3 hours than pick crabs w friends & drink beer)
Wrote up some thoughts on SBOM.
TLDR: The problem is real and everyone means well. But poor metaphors are leading to proposals that do not fit reality. In the end, scarce resources will be diverted to produce compliance make-work with no tangible benefit.

In attack surface management answering even the simplest questions can incredibly difficult and nuanced.
"Who owns this asset?”
- It depends on what you mean by WHO.
- It depends on what you mean by OWN.
- It depends on what you mean by ASSET.
Complexities of Attack Surface Management (ASM): An organization may “own” an asset, but may not care about it because they’re actually not responsible for it. Conversely, an organization may not “own,” but care about it if they’re responsible for it.

@brosenberg53 Ok, on a more serious note, this is indeed interesting. I don’t know how power is measured in this case. A theory I can think of is maybe power is computed as a function of current; there’s a short circuit somewhere, and a protection mechanism kicks in immediately when it happens
