County offices will be closed on Friday, July 3rd, in observance of the Independence Day holiday. The County is taking emergency communications to the next level with a MAJOR upgrade to its 911 system. 🚨The County Commission recently approved a new Next Generation 911 (NG911) platform that will support voice, text, images, video, and enhanced location information, helping first responders get critical information during an emergency, when seconds matter most. The transition will roll out over the next 12 to 18 months and will improve reliability, coordination, cybersecurity, and future technology integration.
