All flights to and from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) and across its network are canceled. If you have a ticket booked on Spirit, the airline is advising travelers not to go to the airport and has provided guidance on its website regarding refunds or rebooking. It was a great start to #EarthDay2026 week at #FLL. Broward County's Aviation Department and Public Works Environmental Services (Air Quality Outreach and Marine Resources) welcomed passengers and invited them to participate in a pre-Earth Day activity. Guests wrote environmental pledges and received a free eco-friendly token for participating. The #Mission38 plane has landed in Fort Lauderdale. Over 60 American heroes with @honorflightSFLA had an emotional day in Washington, D.C., then, upon arrival at #FLL, gathered to follow the bagpipes and honor guard to their "Operation Homecoming." Family, friends, and community members cheered as our veterans entered Terminal 4, shook hands, and received thanks for their service. You could see gratitude, pride, and a few tears on their faces.
