If you know the history of Hillsborough you will know that @AndyBurnhamGM was part of a Blair government that set back the fight for justice for Hillsborough. It’s only a few months since Margaret was hugging @Keir_Starmer. Disgraceful to use Hillsborough in this manner.

If it was Slot's style of play that won the league last season, why did Liverpool start to struggle in the final third of the season? It's because the remnants of Klopp's coaching was finally being removed. The results in the final 10 games of last season were a warning.

Watching that Istanbul documentary has me noticing similarities between Slot & Benitez.
The emphasis on tactics over emotions, on head over heart etc.
Just wonder if that’s the right fit for us. No one can replace Klopp. But slow, passionless football isn’t for us. Even Benitez said he only played that way because of the lack of quality in the squad at the time.
Slot has one of the best squads in the world and still plays like we’re the underdog every week.
It’s just not Liverpool.
And it’s just not good enough.

Slot: Usually at end of season you are looking forward to it ending as it's a long season. Maybe last season I'd have been happy for it to continue, but even then enough was enough. Sunday is vital for us but I'm also looking forward to next season and continue to evolve this season. I've said before it's in transition and that won't stop this summer

This is a man called Danny Bassett - I don’t have a better picture of him. I didn’t even know his second name until recently. He stood a couple of rows behind me at the Emirates. Always topless and always bringing the energy. We’d hug when we scored and shake hands and have a quick chat if we won. Beyond that, we didn’t know each other at all, but he was part of my Arsenal experience for close to a decade. Danny died suddenly last summer and he didn’t get to experience this season. I thought about him a lot today. I hope you enjoyed it mate. You’re missed.
