Can this inflammatory switch be turned off if viral fragments and bacteria are still present? Are there safer alternative meds to try? Thank you 🙏
Things I’ve tried for my #LongCovid #Dysautonomia that ultimately didn’t help: - Exercise - Midodrine - LDN - Methylene Blue - Cryptolepis - Amantadine - Metformin - Various supplements: CoQ10, NAC, ALA, Zinc, Magnesium, Taurine, Quercetin, Curcumin, Resveratrol
@brucep13 How does your theory/study explain dsRNA in megakaryocytes of LC patients Dr. Patterson? I know you are not relying on the Peluso study that is clearly not well-crafted. Also, I'm interested in how your study definitively proves the "absence of viral replication."
Major update from @MichaelPelusoMD in the PolyBio Symposium: UCSF's mAb trial did not find the treatment helped alleviate Long COVID symptoms. He speculated that viral persistence may be a less promising avenue for LC than many have long hypothesized. thesicktimes.org/2025/05/16/liv…

In Year One of Long COVID, I would not let myself believe that I was ill. I pushed through the fatigue like I was still a long-distance runner. I thought a treatment would turn up. I believed my PCP missed something so I saw a few specialists; surely they would find something.🧵

How do you know it’s not reinfection? Study of 2000 patients revealed 50% of patients with Omicron infections didn’t know. Did they sequence the spike?
