@CraigOwnsYou @spkluth @digitalsunshine Mine is an E mainly because of what it was built with & I can’t change that. I can get to D with better double glazing & some other expensive improvements but my tenant pays a reasonable rent & is happy with it as it is & I’d happily there too if I had to

@bryan7019 @spkluth @digitalsunshine It would be good to know the average grade and potential of rental properties throughout the UK. I think it is D for all properties, so around the same for rentals, no doubt.

I can’t get mine better than a D anyway (not increased rent for 4 years) but even if I could, I’d just end up selling it anyway as would take far too long to recover the cost. Tory idea anyway I think?

Reality is as a LL of a grade E flat I’ve already been told I can only get it to a D, so I’ll sell it. Even if I could spend a fortune to get it to a C, it’s not worth it (it’s my pension plan) & not fair to up the rent

@spkluth @digitalsunshine Correct. Some properties will never meet the C Grade requirement, no matter how much money is thrown at it.

@sturdyAlex @Ag1nC0urt I’ve WFH since Covid but not allowed to take my laptop abroad due to council data security risks accessing personal data. There are many council jobs that don’t have higher security risks so it’s no big deal. The days of council staff slackers are long gone in the main

So if I’d done that this time, would I have been refused entry for not knowing their songs?! Its good that venues are trying to take safety seriously, but this was a stupid way of implementing that
