@CoachD178 I think you are spot on except… as great as we think HH was, didn’t we struggle to run the vs elite defenses during his time? I don’t remember the stats so open to correction. I am saying upfront I could be wrong. I may be misremembering how bad our run game was vs elite D’s

Marcus Freeman will have his hands full with this hire. Mike Mickens was truly elite. He's one of the 4 best assistants at Notre Dame in my lifetime along with Harry Hiestand, Barry Alvarez and Urban Meyer. The good news is he's left ND in great shape for his replacement.

Only an observation, not a political statement- electric power out. Natural gas isn’t. Sooo…. Drop natural gas plus the inability to provide energy to a vehicle. In the summer, don’t charge car because of stress on energy system. Hmmmm

Notre Dame is looking for an experienced player to back up CJ Carr. Maybe they should call Jimmy Clausen? He has eligibility left. Maybe Jaylon Smith could come back and fill in while KVA is out, he has some eligibility left. Who wouldn't love to see Quenton Nelson back to play his final season. Zack Martin isn't doing anything next season, maybe he wants to suit up for one more ride in a gold helmet. I mean, I know they all played in the NFL, but apparently playing professionally doesn't stop someone from coming back to college and finishing up their careers. That's how stupid this has all become.
