Yep. Maybe some of those reporters hanging around Manchin and Sinema could instead start asking Romney, Murkowski, Collins, Portman, etc. some tough questions about voting rights.

A perverse dynamic: Because total GOP opposition to protecting democracy is a foregone conclusion, it becomes accepted as a backstop condition of our politics. So it faces less scrutiny. The story then becomes that *only* Dem infighting caused inaction: washingtonpost.com/opinions/2022/…
