@CurtisKen Bro, I was born on my dad’s too. I would always joke with him about how I couldn’t wait till I had it for myself. (Morbid yes, but you had to know our relationship, we were great friends) He died 9 years ago and I really don’t like my birthday anymore. I just miss him.

@ChrisCillizza Think of the bright side. When you critique his effort and when he protests you can say “hey, I’m a paying fan, I earned the right to be critical’

@daren_collins I was watching with that post in mind. It made me reflect on what listening would be like from a different perspective. Sorry that people kinda suck. But it helped me focus.

“The church is not a place where perfect people gather to say perfect things, or have perfect thoughts, or have perfect feelings. The Church is a place where imperfect people gather to provide encouragement, support, and service to each other as we press on in our journey to return to our Heavenly Father.”

"I grew up in Missouri in a home filled with music and faith. My mother taught music, my father was a physician, and church was always part of our lives. I was raised Methodist, and although my path took me away from regular church activity for many years, my love for the scriptures and for Jesus Christ never left me.
"In 1999, while in Salt Lake City for work training, I visited Temple Square. I felt something there that surprised me. The people were peaceful. The spirit was calm. I watched a couple leave the temple, filled with joy, and that image stayed with me. When the sister missionaries offered me a Book of Mormon, I noticed the words 'Another Testament of Jesus Christ.' That stayed with me, too.
"When I returned home, I asked a coworker for a copy of the Book of Mormon. I read it and felt how beautifully it testified of the Savior alongside the Bible. Soon after, I was invited to attend church on Easter Sunday. That day mattered. The message of Christ’s Resurrection, combined with the fellowship I felt, answered prayers I had been carrying quietly for years.
"I was baptized at age 48. Since then, I have found the peace I had been searching for. Easter continues to remind me that Christ lives, that His peace is real, and that through Him, we are never alone. Even in a world filled with uncertainty, I know where to find hope.
"Because Jesus Christ lives, faith can grow later in life, hearts can be renewed, and peace can take root where it was once missing. I have seen God work in my life, and I know He continues to guide all who seek Him." — Dave #GreaterLove
