Day 3 of the “no more than 2” day trial of Sandwich Guy. The prosecution is resting its case; the defense hasn’t decided yet. Dispute over jury instructions continues, a few morsels (sorry) to follow.

@dczerowaste Thanks! 1. Great news! I'll be on the lookout for the update. 2. On the EcoPods, they are for Keurig machines but the ring is made from corn, beets, and wood and certified compostable in industrial facilities - so is that something DC can compost?

@bryanwdc 1. Food Waste Smart Bins are being manufactured, and we'll provide an update in the next several weeks. 2. Regarding ecopods, we think you mean the natural fiber coffee pods used in a Kuerig brewing machine: only the coffee and paper filter (remove the plastic ring, please)
