I left xAI earlier this week. It has been a truly singular experience to build at the frontier in an environment that moves at extraordinary speed. I was fortunate to work across multiple teams, from infra to coding agents RL and post-training, constantly learning and growing in a way I deeply value. Most importantly, I was surrounded by incredible mentors and colleagues, many of whom I now feel lucky to call friends. I am deeply grateful for the chance to learn from and build alongside them. xAI people are amazing! 2026 has already been an incredible year for AI, with so much happening in just the first quarter. It feels like we are still only at the beginning, and I am very excited for what comes next. Alea iacta est.

Today is my last day at xAI. It's been an intense, memorable year building in the frontier — I'm grateful to have worked with and learned from such talented and supportive colleagues. The journey itself is the reward. So long, and thanks for all the fish! 🐬
