Starting "Terrorism and Crime in Cyberspace" class at NDU IRMC.

Attending Cloud Computing Symposium at NDU. Opening speakers were Vivek Kundra (US CIO) and Dave Girouard (Google).

@bart64 Trade-off...finishing one wk course on R&R or 12 wk distance learning on USS BLUERIDGE. Bonus is that it's an interesting course. :)

At least one good thing about trips to DC...opportunities to reconnect with old friends and eat good food! Make that two good things. :)

@suehiggins My so-whats for FB & Twitter are leveragin peers' findings (articles, etc) and keeping in touch across the miles (networking)

Pet peeve...random followers in Twitter. Why do some people want to ruin a good social network?

Had a very enjoyable dinner tonight. Lots of laughter...the result of cumulative inside jokes and always the best part of deployments!

@Scott_Coughlin IMO there's a diff btwn generations & how we use social networking. The young ones interact while we tend to mostly read.

@Scott_Coughlin Best characterization is probably digital immigrants. :) Some become more fluent than others.
