Serious question for my fellow growers: I’ve heard a slower dry and cure helps with terpene preservation. I’ve always cut my plants into 4-5 pieces prior to hanging so I can space them slightly apart. Last run, I figured I’d switch it up and went for a full plant dry. It’s important to note the climate is fully controlled, doesn’t fluctuate more than 2-3 past 60/60 for temp and rh both. I’ve got multiple clip fans on low/medium to keep air moving and inline fans exchanging the air in the tent. Even with everything as tight as I know to keep it for dry environment, I still wound up with PM in 1/3 of the harvest once dry was done. I see operations with racks and racks of plants drying shoulder to shoulder with next to no room for airflow, and they’re still full plants. I’d rather continue piecing my plants up before drying and getting my 10-14d dry with zero mold versus trying to extend it and ruining the harvest.

I’m going to be missing out on no less than 3 extremely exclusive seed drops from 4/17-4/21 because my bank decided to put a “review hold” on a printed payroll check. They’re holding it for 5 fucking days. Stuff like this is what gets CEOs shot. Obviously I’m not quite at that point but it’s the principle. You’re playing with people’s lives. Missing the seed drops might not sound like a big deal, but some of these will never be released again like the Frozen BAG from SQ1, others like the FPOG BC1 are just highly anticipated. Oh, and that’s my grocery $ too. I can be hungry for a little bit tho, groceries will always be there. Give people the opportunity to be kind and they may just surprise you. I initially wasn’t even going to bother contacting the company I’d got my most recent clones from, since I just started doing business with them we had no established relationship which goes a longggg way in this industry. I saw a few posts on X today about Crunchberriez and it made me salty I lost my cut before I got to flower it, same with the Zkittlez. I reached out and asked if they would consider a re ship if I covered shipping. They not only said yes, but offered some extra cuts. First pack of beans I’ve got since the raid. Took a lot of different losses that day but one that stung the most was losing the 6 different cultivars that were fully seeded out and hang drying. Years of selection down the drain literal weeks before I could start to hunt the final product.
