@GregAlford18 @JamesBlairUSA "crime" in quotes because no crime has been committed here. The OCGA section they quote explicitly permits absentee ballots to be returned in person to the clerk. The only time restriction is that they can't accept absentee ballots after 23:59:59 on Monday.

If we are going to bail these people out—and we shouldn’t, because they all knew this land was sliding when they bought or built their homes—the state should buy these properties at their prop 13 valuations and not a single dime more.

@rbisrb @lauriedtmann We do ask cops to pay for guns, but we shouldn’t do that, either. (And we should make them check out their issued firearm and ammunition at the start of each shift and check them in at the end, which DoD police already do.)
