@bsdunix44 @missedyourtrip @Telegraph The families hiring surrogates need to be checked out- they don't go through nearly as much as like people looking to adopt, and sadly there have been too many cases of the child suffering or ending up with people who want to harm them.. Not every case, but some are horrendous..

That's what work is. Miners, construction etc. You don't have money so you sacrifice your body and time to make money doing something you'd rather not. A woman should be adult enough to weigh the pros and cons of the decision. If your stance is that they don't have that, then we should rethink everything.

@Telegraph Yes surrogacy treats women as chattels, living incubators to be coerced. No consideration paid to their rights, wellbeing, risk to life or existing children. Newborns ripped away from the Mum they've bonded with in the womb. Surrogacy is a cold practice, I find it hard to fathom.

Scott MacFarlane reports that momentum is growing in Congress for Supreme Court term limits.
Several bipartisan proposals would impose 18- or 20-year limits on Supreme Court justices.
Rep. Johnny Olszewski says the issue goes beyond any single ruling and reflects a broader crisis of confidence in the Court.
“Only 22% of Americans have confidence in the Supreme Court, and 78% want to see term limits implemented,” Olszewski said.
The push comes amid growing concerns over ethics issues, controversial rulings, and the Court’s increasingly partisan image.
