@htomufc If there’s anyone to develop him it’s Carrick. So many similarities

Watched Chema Andres for Stuttgart in depth this morning, I like him a LOT. Similar to Rodri, he's so upright and looks so huge when he's playing in front of the defence. The speed of his play is quality, one-two touch, doesn't waste touches. Can also push on and be useful between the lines [his goal vs Young Boys], his work is just so clean, I can't explain it. Footwork just never looks rushed, when free & when pressed. He's already got the leggy scooping/stabbing/sweeping tackle on him but give him a little bit of time to fill out physically, he's still too lean to play 6 in the PL, right now, but there's SO much to like about his game already. I genuinely think this lad could be a superstar, to be honest. 6/8-type at Arsenal, Spurs, Liverpool could be quite smart.

Well deserved move for Jovanovic after a great breakout season. Excited to see how he fares, I think he’s well suited to MLS football

You either have to prevent the space, or recover quickly enough to shut it down. Koné did neither.

That whole sequence comes from Koné committing too high, not scanning and allowing Olmo to pick the ball up in acres. Not been impressed with his OOP work at all this tournament or watching Roma this season. Can’t be in consideration for me, no matter how good he is on the ball.

Incredible start from Seys. First the agility and acceleration on the edge of the box after the corner to delay Olmo and Porro, then the positioning to get his body across Yamal.

Nice signing but still leaves us needing that ball-winner/anchor profile, and I worry about the options if Tchouameni isn’t possible. Chema Andrés is my favourite. Like Scott but don’t think he’s what we need

Ødegaard way too slow again. Saw the run twice and still delayed

Need to watch some Jayden Nelson matches after this. Looks so fluid with his touches, and comfortable crossing, passing and dribbling with both feet
