@the_runedev often writes about OP_CAT. What does this mean for RSIC? #Runes simply appeared before the tools to use them were invented. I think $Rsic and #runes need OP_CAT. Block 888,888 does seem like a perfect point for a major event as #Runecoin makes heavy use of the symbolism of 8 which signifies infinity, success and prosperity. Perhaps block 888,888 will be perfect for the distribution of $RSIC mining rewards. This could be related to the transition to a new stage of the #RSIC ecosystem, It is possible that at block 888,888 a mechanism will be launched where your runes can be converted into #Runecoin tokens - where the collected runes will start to play an important role, for example, in staking, exchange or governance. This point seems like a symbolic end of one stage and a transition to something new. This block could become much more significant for the entire structure of the Runecoin ecosystem.
