Been digging into @EthraShip for a bit now and one thing keeps standing out to me, how clean the structure is.
They split it into two separate layers instead of jamming everything into one token.
First layer is the open $SHIP side. Fully permissionless. You can hold it, stake it, vote on governance, pick up perks, just be part of the community without any barriers.
Second layer is the regulated RWA side, built for eligible investors who want actual exposure to the dry bulk vessels themselves, real ships, real operations, real cash flows.
Keeping those two apart seems deliberate. Rights stay clear, compliance stays clean, and nobody’s expectations get mixed up between community participation and actual investment terms.
Real vessels moving real cargo, run by a team that’s been in maritime for years, with a Web3 layer that doesn’t try to cut corners around regulation to make it work.

RWA projects often make use of the term real assets, but @EthraShip seems to have taken the term a step further by tokenizing real assets in the form of maritime assets through global trading infrastructure. The shipping industry carries out transport of about 80% of the daily commodities, but it has never been accessible to retail investors before. Through this project, non-professional investors will be able to access real maritime cash flows through on-chain tokenization of the operations of vessels without causing any regulatory confusion from the investment perspective.
This is not meant to be just hype but a means of providing ownership to an essential part of the infrastructure that enables global operations by using blockchain technology. The fact that the $SHIP token operates independently of the regulated operation indicates some strategic decisions made to ensure sustainable growth of the project. The project seems to have been able to create some kind of integration between heavy industries and Web3.
Such thinking strategically is rare in the RWA space, and EthraShip seems to exemplify this idea. How much potential does the development of maritime RWAs hold in on-chain finance?

Good morning everyone, @NomismaNetwork , today is the last day of the XOOB Impact Share campaign. For the past 91 days, not only creating content but also exploring the Nomisma ecosystem step by step has been a significant part of this process.
During this time, I minted Nomizen IDs, completed tasks, used different ecosystem applications, and by creating content, I reached 82 shares, 12,351 points, a Twitter Score of 274, and an NFT Booster +18% level today. While being on the leaderboard is nice, what was even more valuable for me was being able to closely follow the project's technical vision.
Nomisma's goal isn't just to be a new Layer 1.
