We tell church kids they’re elect, they invited Jesus in their heart, or God loves them “as they are.” Partial Truths scattered in an unidentifiable pattern, without the core message of the Gospel bringing them into alignment. They need the same entrance to the kingdom their parents did: Repentance. But think about that—to truly access the power of the Gospel as they’ve heard it, most church kids will have to go prodigal. Bc the cry of the Gospel is repentance, but what use is repentance to a good church kid? See, Gospel parenting is the same as faithful Gospel church preaching.
