As I pass through my incarnations in every age and race, I make my proper prostrations to the Gods of the Market-Place. Peering through reverent fingers I watch them flourish and fall, And the Gods of the Copybook Headings, I notice, outlast them all. We were living in trees when they met us. They showed us each in turn That Water would certainly wet us, as Fire would certainly burn: But we found them lacking in Uplift, Vision and Breadth of Mind, So we left them to teach the Gorillas while we followed the March of Mankind. We moved as the Spirit listed. They never altered their pace, Being neither cloud nor wind-borne like the Gods of the Market Place, But they always caught up with our progress, and presently word would come That a tribe had been wiped off its icefield, or the lights had gone out in Rome. With the Hopes that our World is built on they were utterly out of touch. They denied that the Moon was Stilton; they denied she was even Dutch. They denied that Wishes were Horses; they denied that a Pig had Wings. So we worshipped the Gods of the Market Who promised these beautiful things. When the Cambrian measures were forming, They promised perpetual peace. They swore, if we gave them our weapons, that the wars of the tribes would cease. But when we disarmed They sold us and delivered us bound to our foe, And the Gods of the Copybook Headings said: "Stick to the Devil you know." On the first Feminian Sandstones we were promised the Fuller Life (Which started by loving our neighbour and ended by loving his wife) Till our women had no more children and the men lost reason and faith, And the Gods of the Copybook Headings said: "The Wages of Sin is Death." In the Carboniferous Epoch we were promised abundance for all, By robbing selected Peter to pay for collective Paul; But, though we had plenty of money, there was nothing our money could buy, And the Gods of the Copybook Headings said: "If you don't work you die." Then the Gods of the Market tumbled, and their smooth-tongued wizards withdrew, And the hearts of the meanest were humbled and began to believe it was true That All is not Gold that Glitters, and Two and Two make Four— And the Gods of the Copybook Headings limped up to explain it once more. As it will be in the future, it was at the birth of Man— There are only four things certain since Social Progress began:— That the Dog returns to his Vomit and the Sow returns to her Mire, And the burnt Fool's bandaged finger goes wabbling back to the Fire; And that after this is accomplished, and the brave new world begins When all men are paid for existing and no man must pay for his sins, As surely as Water will wet us, as surely as Fire will burn, The Gods of the Copybook Headings with terror and slaughter return! - Rudyard Kipling

I'm honestly just tired of hearing about Jews and Israel as some extra-special explanation for anything. There are good people and bad people who are Jews. Israel is a country. Mossad is about as evil as our CIA, but 2x as effective. If there is a secret cabal of Jews, there probably is one of Catholics (my Catholic friends say these are the Jesuits), Protestants (my Catholic AND Protestant friends say these are Freemasons), etc. They're people. They are born, they live, they die. There's no reason to make Jews a bugaboo. But I recently found out I have Jewish ancestry, so what do I know?

Maybe it makes me a bad person, but honestly I’m so autistic that my issue with the antisemitism on here isn’t that it’s obnoxious, unkind or “morally wrong”, it’s that it breaks people’s brains and turns them into actual retards with fetal alcohol syndrome, with whom no meaningful dialogue or debate can occur, because they’re too emotionally committed to a litany of spastic priors that nobody with a fully functioning brain shares. It’s that it’s a totalising commitment to cult logic. You cannot meet cult logic in the middle anymore than you can be half pregnant, either you’re buck broken by third world Islamist retard logic or you’re not. If you are, there’s nothing to discuss.

Huh. Fully operational IRBMs. I guess President Trump and U.S. defense officials had access to information regarding Iran's missile capabilities that was not available to leftwing tankies, New Right dipshits, and journalists.

Iran fired a pair of intermediate-range ballistic missiles at Diego Garcia, a joint U.S.-UK base in the Indian Ocean. One missile failed in flight, and another was engaged by a US Navy destroyer using an SM-3 missile.

That... is a profound misunderstanding of the original article. Did you actually read the article, or just the tweet? Let's start with where you're right. Sure, a fit body and a pretty face is enough for most men. Great. If that's all you're saying, you win. It also has nothing to do with the article posted. You're talking about "fit bodies and pretty faces" - and Aria is politely saying that most women don't HAVE fit bodies. CDC claims 73% of adults are overweight, and 42% are flat-out obese. Aria takes pains to point out that there is a wider range of "pretty faces" that men find attractive, so the best thing for women to do usually is lose weight... which emphasizes their curves. You respond with a spurious argument saying that most women don't have a WtHR of 0.7, which misses the point. Aria's article suggests that if women get closer to the ideal, they will be found more attractive; you somehow shifted that into "unless you can achieve a WtHR of 0.7, everything Aria wrote is meaningless". You then claim that fat women and thin women are both as curvy as they will ever be, genetically, unless they are clinically obese, and use the fact that more than half of celebrities aren't curvy as evidence. Apart from the fact that your evidence doesn't match the claim ("losing weight = no change in shape" has nothing to do with "not all celebrities are curvy"), I responded that celebrities have super-specific, wonky, selection effects that make them utterly useless as guides for statistical averages, or as evidence for or against advice for regular women. They are categorically not useful as comparators for the general population. They aren't even good standards of beauty anymore, because of the aforementioned selection effects. Instead of addressing this, you claimed I and all men wouldn't be able to resist certain flat? / square? / fit? celebrities I've never heard of and don't care about. Sister, I am happy to resist any and all celebrities. Literally the only celebrity from the past three years in Hollywood I could name off the top of my head is Sydney Sweeney, who notably has good curves and jeans. And even if she threw herself at me naked, the answer would still be no. But back to Aria's article. 73% of Americans are overweight, 42% are obese. So even if you were absolutely right about everything - which you're not; the claim that women or people in general don't change shape as they lose weight is absurd - by your own statements, Aria's advice would still hold for the roughly half of the population (42%) that IS obese. Did I miss anything?

@btmpb @Aria_Babu @ubiquitousnewt You don't get it do you? I'm saying a fit body with a pretty face is enough even at the highest echelons of beauty let alone for the gen pop. Not having an hourglass is not going to impede an attractive woman's chances. ⏳ figure (WtHr<=0.7) occurs in only around 12pct of women.

Most women underrate how much men care about looks. And when they do try to get more attractive they waste time and effort on tanning, contouring their face, getting their nails done. Instead, almost everyone could be considered attractive if they lost weight, grew their hair long, and cleared up their skin. All these things are within your control. There's other basic advice that should be obvious. Wear makeup everyday and go for a youthful, dewy look. Remove your body hair. Ditch your glasses. For the extreme looksmaxxers, focus on your body. Your face is probably fine and hard to change. Get a boob job, precisely control your weight, and do hourglass-enhancing exercises. You are no longer stuck with the looks God gave you. ariababu.co.uk/p/get-sexier

@btmpb @Narcomancer20 @Aria_Babu @ubiquitousnewt They made an observation about something that applies to most of the population, they didn’t use a single counterexample to try and disprove an average. Do you even understand the meme?

You selected the most selected possible set of women - actresses and supermodels - and claim that somehow invalidates advice given to the general public. The subset of supermodels has such significant selection effects that it tells you little to nothing about the general population. For example, runway models are selected by gay men, overwhelmingly, as gay men have dominated the fashion industry for decades. So runway models match the preferences of gay men: flat chests, square hips, NOT hourglass. The 100 or so women who are Hollywood celebrities were selected by the Weinsteins of the world (hourglass), or by the Kathleen Kennedys of the world (anything BUT hourglass). In neither case does your specific example / counterpoint address or disprove the general statement! 40%+ of Americans, men and women, are obese. They don't have the hourglass shape, in general, because they need to lose weight - as the article clearly stated. Throwing an anecdote about a few hundred Hollywood starlets does not refute statistical averages, or advice given to the vast majority of American women who would be more curvy if they lost weight

@btmpb @Aria_Babu @ubiquitousnewt Actresses/supermodels don't usually have an hourglass bcs women ie the ♀️general population doesn't either. The hourglass may be overrepresented in that echelon but is still outnumbered by women w other shapes, meaning it's not the determinant in the highest %iles of beauty.

@Aria_Babu @ubiquitousnewt The thesis is disproven by the fact that the most successful & desirable women such as actresses/VS supermodels don't usually possess an ⌛. They do realize pronouns is a wide category, right? There are all types of pronouns. If you feel a little like Shakespeare, there are "thee" and "thou". If you feel a little Southern, "y'all" and "them-uns" count. There are multiple categories of pronouns as well: Possessive, Personal, Relative, Reflexive, Indefinite, Demonstrative, Interrogative, Intensive, and Reciprocal pronouns. Here is a list in case you are looking. Good luck y'all!

Update: Wednesday The department-wide meeting I was not invited I went anyway 8am Walked in Legal pad in hand The room was full Not just HR Not just finance The entire floor Someone from marketing was there She had "Identified Adjective: Creative" in her email signature I've never met her HR stood at the front PowerPoint on the screen Slide one: "Email Signature Policy: Clarification & Compliance" I sat in the front row HR looked at me I opened my legal pad She began "Effective immediately, the email signature policy will require identified pronouns only. Adjectives are not included." I raised my hand She said "we're not taking questions yet" I said "it's not a question. It's a point of order. The current policy says 'identified.' It does not specify a part of speech. You're changing the policy, not clarifying it." Legal was in the back of the room He nodded Again HR said "we've updated the language" I said "when" She said "this morning" I said "so the policy I complied with yesterday is no longer the policy today" She said "correct" I said "and I'm the one being non-compliant" The room was quiet The controller raised his hand He said "so do I remove 'Tired' or not" Someone in the back laughed HR did not laugh The analyst was standing in the doorway I didn't invite him He came anyway He was holding a legal pad I looked at him He looked at me I didn't say anything But I noted it HR said "going forward, signatures will include name, title, and identified pronouns. Nothing else." I said "I'll comply with the new policy" She looked surprised I said "effective today. As written. Until someone changes it again." My boss said "I think that's fair" HR closed the PowerPoint Meeting adjourned in 14 minutes I walked out The analyst followed me He said "so the adjectives are gone?" I said "from the signature, yes" He said "that's it?" I said "the policy changed. So I'll change." He looked confused I said "but the policy didn't say anything about the out-of-office auto-reply" He stared at me I stared back He smiled First time I've ever seen that kid smile at work I think he just earned his first adjective Updated my out-of-office to: Thank you for your email. I am currently unavailable. Best, Ethan Brooks Identified Adjectives: Smart / Handsome Identified Chromosomes: XY For urgent matters, please contact HR. They love hearing from people. "written by real AI that delivers raw data and unfiltered truth" Oh, you sweet summer child. Bless your little clanker heart
X Freeze@XFreeze

The “Wikilaundering” scandal is finally blowing wide open and it’s worse than we thought A massive investigation by The Bureau of Investigative Journalism just exposed the ugly truth: Wikipedia is corrupt to its core You do not get information. You get propaganda.... articles manipulated by the highest bidder, billionaires, PR firms, and woke activists Here’s exactly how the rot works: 📍 Shadow Network: London-based PR firms like Portland Communications run secret “black hat” editors and middlemen to bypass every rule 📍 Reputation Scrubbing on Steroids: They delete scandals, human rights abuses, and even controversial Epstein files for powerful politicians...... while scrubbing migrant worker deaths and slave labor scandals for Qatar, covering up ties to terrorists, and burying corporate crimes for billionaire clients 📍 The Price of Truth: Billionaires and corporations pay huge money to bury failures and push lies while their “achievements” sit at the top 📍 Gatekeeping at Scale: A tiny insider group controls what billions see as “fact” Wikipedia is not an encyclopedia It’s a bought-and-paid-for propaganda brochure run for the elite and woke activists This is exactly why Elon was hell-bent on creating Grokipedia.......the exact opposite: information that can’t be corrupted, altered by price, and is written by real AI that delivers raw data and unfiltered truth instead of the sanitized woke lies sold to the highest bidder Stop trusting the laundered version of reality
