A preliminary list would be like: - something racist from the 1920s - Spengler - the Durants - the consensus historians - *The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich* (dad book) - Howard Zinn - Hobsbawm’s tetralogy - Sapiens

Three takeaways: 1) the Durants have more to answer for than I thought 2) despite the many long tomes they wrote, people like BN only read the 100p epitomization 3) Ariel still not getting her due.

Histories of stagflation and the neoliberal turn are about to get a lot more interesting since there are very good odds we are about to enter the Final Stage of it all
