@techdroider Probably they’ve deliberately not shown the UI blur. They have spilled beans about Android 17. The newish UI should be a part of the QPR update when the new phones launch. You have to be pretty dumb to be posting this. This is what you do yet you do a terrible job.
English

@techdroider Still pretty wild that apple was able to implement system wide blur efficiently over a decade ago.
English

@techdroider I don’t think it’ll be Glassy. Frosted blur like windows 10 or iOS 18 with color gradients.

@TheGalox_ 6-7k is enough for a mobile OS. Get a laptop brah, a phone is a phone.

I’m tired of this narrative that Pixel 10 and 11 have an SoC that’s as powerful as the 6 year old iPhone 12 or just 10% more powerful.
While true on-paper, the iPhone 12 mini has frame drops even in basic multitasking on iOS 26 and this is what the phone becomes in 5 minutes of outdoor use in summers because there’s no vapour chamber. It’s an identical experience for the base iPhone 12 and 13 as well.
The Pixel 11 is NOT gonna perform as garbage as this because it has 2-3x the RAM, a vapour chamber for cooling and a more optimised UI (regardless of the reason why it’s more optimised). Pixel 11 is going to perform smooth af and on-par with the iPhone 17 in daily use.
I’m the last person to defend tensor’s garbage performance compared to Snapdragon and even Exynos but I really hate this narrative of iPhone winning in benchmark numbers by 6 years but performing worse than Androids that score half of that on paper.

The Tensor G6 is a huge upgrade. 10% SoC improvements put it at just a little bit more performant than an iPhone 12. Nice work!

The new Snapseed update is terrible!
They ruined the UI. Who tf approved it?!
The new redesign is just AI-slop, probably designed by Gemini 3 Flash. Nobody asked for it!
I took some screenshots and tried to improve their design and adjust them according to @GoogleDesign's recommendations.
I didn't have enough time to perfect them, but at least it shows the vision.
@Google i see u struggling 👀.
If you need a hand, I'll volunteer.

@michael82638 @alexstyl you proved my point, it's LITERALLY USE LESS on a mobile OS :)

They won’t do it too If pixel is doing like apple done with real time reflection and refraction which are more cpu and gpu intensive tensor won’t handle that any way
TechDroider@techdroider
Liquid Glass would've cooked Pixel instantly. Glad it's not happening.
