@ErikReed No one is triggered. The premise of the tweet is just goofy. You’re so into “countering the culture narrative” you feel like you have to compete w the reality the church harms people. Pastors are treated poorly sometimes. I’m one of them. But it comes with the job description.

A lot of folks are triggered by this post, but I stand behind the statement. A lot of churches treat their pastors like crap. It’s the facts.

People are messy; therefore, relationships will be messy. Expect messiness--and that's why no one can expect lasting marriages, friendship, or communities without knowing how to give and receive forgiveness.
