Doesn't seem like self-defense to me, but he IS famous. He could have driven around that guy, he didn't have to crash, get pissed off and then punch him. Morally, I don't think he's wrong for doing it, but it's revenge, not self-defense. Also, he didn't seem very capable on the bike and that's his fault.
