TWW imo, prepared them greatly, amazingly. Now Midnight just let them both to bloom, and they are just getting started...

there are a bunch of things I loved about crown of the cosmos but one of my favorite parts of the fight, cinematic, and raid as a whole is once again xal’atath’s characterization. the main draw she has as an antagonist remains: everything is *personal* with her.

The more she tests Alleria, the more character growth Alleria gets.
And imo, Voidspire will be her final big "victory" In this rivalry, now things will slowly, slowly turn into Alleria's side because she is now free of L'ura.
This won't happen overnight and most likely will

And here is the thing, Xal'atath tried so so hard, but as shown in the final cinematic, she COULD NOT break Alleria, despite turning her into a "boss". Because thats the key thing; she couldn't convince Alleria, she couldn't make her turn against US

def my major feedback point on midnight’s narrative. the horde should be here for sure. I understand they want to tell a different story, but let’s at least get the horde army in silvermoon.

much like how garrosh vs thrall was a core tension, alleria vs xal was sold as a core tension. and then actually IS. it was an essential part of tww, especially k’aresh, and was the catalyst behind getting to the current status quo in midnight. fantastic. i’m so happy.
